Cleaning and Repairs
Microscopes
Overtime general wear and everyday use can cause microscopes to deteriorate. Eyepieces, objectives and the prisms can delaminate, become scratched, or just dirty. Beyond dirt and grime the mechanics of microscopes can break down as well, making repairs necessary for continued use. As microscope technicians, Tice Associates cleans microscopes inside and out, cleaning eyepieces, prisms, objectives as well as the exterior of the microscope.
We recommend yearly cleanings are scheduled, to keep your equipment functioning for many years. It is more economical in the long run to pay for yearly servicing than to pay for brand new microscopes every few years.
